Every year on the Feb 1st, there is Hourly Comics Day. The goal is to draw a comic every hour about what happened in the previous hour. Some people do an amazing job with these. Really using the space to experiment and make something special.
I tend to avoid doing the project. Normally because my hour to hour life isn’t that exciting. Or the day lands in the middle of the week and I’m sitting in one spot at work for 8 hours. With it landing on the weekend, I thought I would have more time to do something with this and gave it an honest effort. But largely I fell off as the day went on. I ended up driving an hour and a half (each way) to see a play with some friends. Just wasn’t visually interesting.
I got back late and was to tired to pick things up. When I had the chance to pick up the next day, the moment had passed.
But I do like what I did get done, and since I did post this elsewhere I thought I’d share it here with you all as well.
